The spring chocolates can be made easily and customized by changing the ingredients and type of chocolate. Dark chocolate is the way to go from a health standpoint – it has lots of properties that lower blood pressure and fight disease – but if you are a milk chocolate fan these taste great either way.Â
Candies made with coconut oil should be stored in the fridge to keep them cool. They will become soft if they are not kept there.
If you’re looking for a way to mask the taste of your medicated chocolates, add a few teaspoons of almond or espresso extract.
This batch of oil was made using the hybrid Headband. This strain has a lot of power. The high was uplifting and gave me the energy I needed to get some much-needed housework done.
[Makes about 24 mini cups]
Ingredients:
Three tablespoons of canna oil
Chocolate chips 2 cups
Coconut shredded, 1/3 cup
Chop toffee pieces – 1/3 cup
¼ cup chopped confetti sprinkles
Directions:
Step 1
Over low heat in a medium saucepan, melt coconut oil.
Step 2.
Pour the chocolate into a bowl and mix until smooth.
Step 3
Add the coconut and toffee after you remove the mixture.
Step 4 & 5
Pour the mixture into small cups. For a party, I will vary the quantities so everyone can have their choice. Before the chocolate has set, sprinkle with the confetti. Refrigerate the chocolate.
