Bee’s Knees Wellness doesn’t operate like your typical hemp cannabinoid business. In 2021, a women-owned company launched with the mission of bringing education to forefront in the hemp industry.

Bee’s Knees is a distributor of products that promote health and wellness. They know that more educated people can make better choices. Bee’s Knees is also aware that information sharing can bring people together and foster community. On the company’s website, you can find a webinar series called ”LIVE With The HIVE,” blog posts, and detailed educational content about CBD and other ingredients found in Bee’s Knees’ product. Bee’s Knees offers an affiliate program, which includes consultants across the US.

The website says, “We really want to turn wellness into a kinetic experience.” When you feel the impact of one of our products on your physical or mental health, you’ll want to share it with the world. So we created a business plan that encourages that.

You can read on to learn what I thought of Bees Knees’ products after using them, and also an interview Marilee. Scruton shares with us her favorite Bee’s Knee products, as well as a more in-depth explanation of what the company is doing to promote education.

A Product Review that is Thoughtful, Thorough

Bee’s Knees Wellness has a wide range of CBD-based products, from the standard gummies and tinctures to innovative and unique items such as hemp-powered skin care, tincture sprays, and drink mix. The brand offers something for every consumer. You may be looking for products to help you with a particular area in your life, such as sleep or focus, or you might just want to improve general wellbeing.

The Bee’s Knees wellness products I have tried are the two tincture sprays, the Magnesium cream, and the four different kinds of gummies. Bee’s Knees’ hemp-derived products are a range that has been developed with great care and consideration. As someone who makes conscious choices, and uses only the best products for my needs, I’m truly impressed. Read on to discover why I enjoy these hemp-derived wellness products so much.

Spritzes

The spritzes come in an orange-flavored ‘Energy’ blend made with organic MCT Oil, CBG, ashwagandha and ginseng; and a ‘Bliss’ spritz with organic MCT Oil, Delta-8 and flavoring from organic mint terpenes. Ingredients for these spritzes is clean and concise. These spritzes are clean and simple, have no nasty ingredients, work well, I love how convenient they are, and they will go right in my purse.

Magnesium Cream

It comes in a convenient plastic bottle with a screw-on top. The creamy texture is rich and smooth and glides easily onto skin. This provides instant relief and also long-lasting comfort. It’s true that the list of ingredients for this cream is more extensive and suspect than those in other Bee’s Knees products. The main ingredients of this cream, which include arnica, peppermint oil, rosehip and peppermint essential oils and magnesium, are healthy and nourishment. It is also important to have a cream that has been properly emulsified, so all the benefits are distributed evenly with every pump. This can be difficult without using some ingredients which may not be easy to pronounce. The cream will help me maintain my magnesium levels, relieve everyday tension, and treat any muscle strains or pain.

Bee’s Knees Health Gummies

These edibles come in a tropical flavor with Delta-9 and CBD, a full-spectrum Delta-8 and CBG Watermelon flavor, a lemon CBD variety, and a raspberry lemon ‘Dream’ gummy with CBG, CBN, Magnesium and Melatonin. From the texture, flavor and effect to the ingredients, I rate these gummies 10/10. All the ingredients are simple and clean, and all of them have been expertly designed.

Bee’s Knees Wellness is a team of “Picky Product Perfectionists”, who place utmost importance on wellness. The team at Bee’s Knees Wellness just won a new client. After trying Bee’s Knees Wellness’ products, I can relate to their website’s sentiment about being so elated by the products’ power that you want to proclaim on this page: These products rock!

Meet Marilee Scruthon, Bee’s Knees co-founder

Marilee Scruton is the co-founder of Bee’s Knees. I spoke with her to find out more about the company and what she thinks the future holds for the hemp-based industry.

Cannabis Now: Which Bee’s knees wellness products are you most likely to keep in your home on any given day?

MS: Each morning I begin my day with our Cinnamon CBG Tincture. CBG, a component in the cinnamon plant, is known to have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as analgesic and antimicrobial qualities. The plant is also known for its digestive benefits and gives me a great boost of energy. CBG interacts with the endocannabinoid systems in the same way as THC but without the high. It’s a great way to begin the day. CBG can reduce tumor cell migration, proliferation and survival.

The CN asked: What was the first thing you noticed when you started in the industry, that the products on the market were not satisfactory?

MS: This is an excellent question and it’s the reason why I founded Bee’s Knees Wellness. The products were not of the high quality I was looking for. The products I was using were full of synthetic ingredients. This concerned me at the time and continues to concern me now when companies make inaccurate claims or give incorrect information. The industry is complex and has a lot of information to provide, but we as professionals have a responsibility to educate consumers to make the best decisions for themselves.

According to the website of Bee’s Knees, they offer luxury products. Different people have different ideas of what luxury is. How does luxury define and manifest itself at Bee’s Knees Hotel?

MS: A great question again! Luxury to us means high-quality, clean ingredients, beautiful packaging, and products with real results. Effective, transparent formulas can be created without a steep price. While we’re not the cheapest—or the most expensive—we never cut corners. You can always rely on us to deliver consistent quality in all of our products.

Your team created extensive educational materials, such as webinars and detailed informational material, in addition to an affiliate program with consultants all over the country. Bee’s Knees Wellness puts a priority on community involvement and education. What does it feel like to be a part of the “hive”, which you have helped create?

MS: In 2020 I began my career in this industry by opening a store on Main Street, Park City, Utah. I wanted to create a space where customers could feel welcome and comfortable asking questions or trying out products. We have a lot of educational graphics and takeaways—people love that ECS visual! I have a well-trained staff, and the salespeople who are most successful in my store possess the greatest knowledge. Bee’s Knees Wellness began with my Hemped Park City store. I learned what the customers needed, wanted and how they responded.

After launching our BKW site, we created an educational website. Our consultants, customers and anyone else can access the Hemp Learning Channel, which is a wealth of information and research. We offer formalized, self-directed education to anyone who wants it. Knowledgeable people excel.

CN: Do you have any aspirations for the hemp sector?

MS: I hope that the regulations can be normalized, if it’s possible. Utah has some of the most strict regulations in the nation, but things are constantly changing both on a local and a federal level. Stabilization would be perfect. As both a manufacturer and retailer, I often say it’s like playing ‘Whack-a-Mole’ to keep up with the continual changes. In spite of this, we remain flexible, and bob-and-weave to adjust. Of course, I would love to see hemp used in some form by everyone. As hemp becomes more mainstream and less stigmatized, more people are likely to be interested in it. There is definitely something out there for everyone. With a bit more guidance and education, I think we can make this happen.
