Some people believe the adult use of alcohol could be happening next year while others remain skeptical.
All stakeholders of the current medical marijuana market feared that at the Pennsylvania Cannabis Convention held recently in Pittsburgh the state could legalize cannabis for adult-use but switch to a program involving state stores. This, they claim, will destroy the jobs that were created by the medical cannabis program. The state is home to a large number of MSOs, as well as upcoming local businesses. Legislators are looking at other options, and stakeholders hope to convince their legislators away from the state store.
