Hempseed Oil has been widely used in the past for shamanic practices, as well as love potions and perfumes. Hemp-derived cannabis oil is used in many beauty and skincare products. You can see them on the shelves of pharmacies, supermarket aisles and mothers’ bathrooms.
Hemp, which can be purchased from outside of the U.S. in all 50 states, only contains about 0.3 percent to 1.5 percent THC and originates from the same plant as marijuana  — Cannabis Sativa L. Hemp refers to the commercial use of the cannabis plant’s stalk or seeds, while the term marijuana pertains to the medicinal, spiritual or recreational use, which involves smoking or vaporizing cannabis flowers.
THC is also an anti-inflammatory antioxidant. Clinical research has shown that cannabinoids have anti-aging properties and antioxidants. According to the journal of Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, cannabinoids can be responsible for producing lipids and can therefore help dry skin or acne.
THC has the exact opposite effect when it is applied topically. THC is a natural anti-pathogen that makes marijuana plants resistant to disease. It also absorbs high amounts of UVB radiation. As a result, the seeds of the marijuana plant are shielded from radiation damage. THC can be used as a neuroprotective anti-oxidant for skill cells. THC is an antioxidant that can reduce wrinkles and fine-lines. Even scientists are researching its potential to treat skin disorders such as psoriasis and eczema.
It is a rich source of omega-3s and omega-6s, which makes hemp a perfect ingredient in any skin-care product. Hemp is also an excellent alternative to many toxic chemicals in petroleum-based products. Avoid buying hemp-infused cosmetics to incorporate cannabis oil skincare in your beauty and health regimen. To make homemade facials, all you need is cannabis or hemp oil.
The following recipes use cannabis oil. If it is not readily available, you can substitute hemp oil.

Avocados are rich in antioxidants and contain a lot of vitamin C. Vitamin C is required for the production of collagen and elastin, two substances that maintain skin firmness. Patchouli essential oils tighten and tone sagging, sagging-skin skin. It is also a known natural antidepressant and helps to treat stress, anxiety and depression. The scent of patchouli may be too strong for some, and can make them feel uncomfortable. The cocoa powder will rejuvenate your dull, sun-damaged skin while protecting it.
