Spring is a good time to declutter, organize and prioritize, so adding your cannabis paraphernalia to the list of things to freshen up is a good idea — especially if it’s been awhile since you’ve cleaned your pieces. It is important to regularly clean any accessories you may use to smoke marijuana. To ensure that your gear lasts as long as possible, you should keep it in top shape. This not only keeps your smoking accessories in top shape, but it also ensures you have the most flavorful hit every time.

Vapes
It only takes minutes to clean your vape. This is true whether you are using dry flowers, oils or concentrates. Remove the chamber of the vape and gently wipe inside with a cotton swab. The mouthpiece can be cleaned by running it under hot water. To finish, use a moist (not soaking) baby wipe or cloth to clean the vape outside.
Bongs
A funky, gunky bong can be cleaned with a couple of ingredients and some elbow lubrication. All you’ll need is some salt and rubbing alcohol, plus a few moments to shake up your bong. Pour out any dirty water from your bong and thoroughly wash it with clean, warm water. Then, fill the bong with alcohol, add some salt and plug the stem of the bong with a piece of cotton. Cover the tube using your washcloth, or even your own hand, and continue to shake it until the bong is as clean as new. You may need to repeat this process if your bong is covered in sticky resin. If you want to clean it completely, use glass cleaner or a product designed for cleaning.
Pipes
It is very similar to cleaning a bong, except that you need a sandwich-bag with a ziplock. Place your pipe in a bag and give it a thorough rinse using warm or hot water. Then, add a pinch of salt and pour some alcohol into the sandwich bag. Securely close it and vigorously shake. It may be necessary to try again if the first time doesn’t yield results. You can also use a small paperclip to manually scrape off any resin that is stubborn. After rinsing the pipe, let it air dry.
Grinders
To begin the cleaning procedure, you will need a paper plate and cotton swabs, as well as a toothpick. Give your grinder a good thump to remove any large pieces of debris. Then, using the toothpick, remove all kief from the grinder and place it onto the paper plate. If the grinder is very clogged, soak it with rubbing liquor and a cotton swab. Then, wash it thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Place it on a clean towel, and allow it to dry before you use it.
Dab Rig Nail
Depending on how much time you have available and the dirtiness of your rig nails, it’s best to wash them or scrape them. You can easily scrape a rig nail with a sharp paper clip, or another object. Use rubbing alcool to remove the build-up on the nail. Soak the cotton swab in the alcohol and clean it afterwards.
