BeLeaf Medical, a vertically integrated company in Missouri, has acquired BesaMe Wellness. This acquisition will allow BeLeaf Medical to double the number of retail dispensaries in Missouri.
According to Division of Cannabis Regulator, each company has already five cannabis dispensaries operating in Missouri. BeLeaf’s, however, are clustered in St. Louis while BesaMe’s, on the other hand, are located primarily around the Kansas City metropolitan area with one being in central Missouri. Greenway Magazine reports that this will allow BeLeaf to reach a wider range of customers.
BesaMe has five stores located in 5901 Northwest Barry Rd. According to DCR’s website, the DCR has five shops in Kansas City: 5918 Southview Dr., Liberty; 13518 US 169, Smithville; 1041 Burlington St., North Kansas City and Warrensburg.
Greenway stated that BeLeaf Swade will be the retail name for these five acquired shops.
Joey Pintozzi told Greenway, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer at BeLeaf Medical that vertical integration of the company will help the new owners supply BesaMe’s shops.
Pintozzi said to the online magazine that “the resources and tools we are able to provide those amazing teammates and great operators will be something very special.”
