Trulieve Cannabis Corp. announced on Wednesday that Onward is a line of THC-infused, non-alcoholic cocktail drinks. They will be available online as well at selected Total Wine Stores in Florida.
Kim Rivers, CEO of Trulieve said that the Onward beverage powered by Trulieve is expertly designed to meet evolving consumer tastes. “We’re excited to bring this innovative, federally compliant drink line to people looking for a different form of refreshing.”
These cocktail-inspired drinks are available in five different flavors, which include Blueberry Mojito (pictured), Italian Spritz (pictured), Passionfruit Martini (pictured), Peach Bellini (pictured), and Sea Salt Margarita. The promotional material states that the drinks contain 3mg to 10mg THC in each can. Effects are felt between 10-15 minutes.
Each beverage contains between 40 and 50 calories. It is made using natural fruit juices without high-fructose. They are marketed as an alcohol alternative that causes “no hangxiety”, “no swelling” or “no bloating”.
Total Wine and the retail partnership are part of a larger mainstream breakthrough with cannabis-infused beverage. BDSA estimates that hemp-based THC products could reach a US market of $1.4 billion to $3 billion over the next 4 years.
You can order directly from Onward’s website if you are 21 years old or older. Shipping is available in 36 states as per Farm Bill rules.
Trulieve claims that they test all their products and make the results online available.
